LongHorn Steakhouse is preparing to open a new restaurant in Anna, according to reports from the-sun.com. The development marks a significant step for the chain in the local market, bringing its dining options to the community.

In a related development, Texas Roadhouse is also looking to expand its presence in the region. The restaurant chain has submitted building plans for a potential location near the Blue Ridge Mall. This move suggests a growing interest in the area from major dining establishments.

Despite the submission of these plans, the project has not yet received official approval. Crystal Lyda, the Henderson County Permits and Inspections Director, confirmed that no permit has been issued at this time. The county is currently waiting for the full permit application to be submitted before the project can be officially approved for construction.

While the expansion plans are underway, Texas Roadhouse has also been in the news for a different reason. A viral video featuring a Texas Roadhouse employee has drawn attention to the chain's famous dinner rolls. TikTok user Kevin Russell shared a video showing how the rolls can be transformed into a breakfast dish.

Russell stated that a server suggested taking home extra rolls to use the next day. He demonstrated a method of cutting the rolls in half, dipping them in an egg mixture, and pan-frying them in the restaurant's signature cinnamon honey butter. The dish was then topped with sugar syrup.

Russell gave the creation a perfect score of ten out of ten. He described the process as simple, noting that the ingredients are primarily butter, sugar, and bread. He remarked that the outcome is difficult to ruin and called the result "insane."

The viral video has sparked widespread interest in the internet community. The combination of the restaurant's expansion plans and the viral food hack highlights the chain's current visibility in both local development and social media trends.

Texas Roadhouse employs about 143 people in Anna, according to local government records.
