Liberty Hills has moved into construction in Anna, Texas, with its first two neighborhoods planning home sales in different parts of 2027.

Developer Veritas Communities announced an Oct. 8 groundbreaking attended by city officials and the Anna Economic Development Corporation. The site lies between Mantua and Rosamond parkways on the west side of U.S. 75.

The Preserve at Liberty Hills is planned for 991 homes, with sales expected to begin in early 2027. Its builders are Sandlin Homes, William Ryan Homes and David Weekley Homes.

The Greens at Liberty Hills is planned for 451 homes from Shaddock Homes, Grand Homes and Perry Homes. The developer targets late 2027 for sales there.

The two neighborhoods are part of a larger community planned for more than 1,800 homes. Veritas says the project will also include trails, pools, shopping and dining. The sales schedules are developer projections.
