North Texas offers season tickets for 2026-27 slate with nine Denton home games

North Texas has released a 13-game nonconference schedule for 2026-27, with nine contests at the Super Pit and season tickets now available.

University of North Texas Athletics has announced the Mean Green's 2026-27 men's basketball nonconference schedule under second-year head coach Daniyal Robinson. The team will host nine of its 13 nonconference games at the Super Pit in Denton, and season tickets are available through the Mean Green Ticket Office.

The schedule begins with four home games, starting with Southwest Christian on Nov. 2. McNeese follows Nov. 5, then Santa Clara on Nov. 11 and South Alabama on Nov. 14. McNeese and Santa Clara played in the 2025-26 NCAA Tournament, while South Alabama appeared in the NIT. Overall, the schedule features three NCAA Tournament opponents from last season and two NIT teams.

North Texas will visit App State in Boone, North Carolina, on Nov. 20 before competing in the Snake Rivers Invitational in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Nov. 27-29. Drake, North Dakota State and Boise State are listed as opponents there. The Mean Green's final six nonconference games return to Texas, including five in Denton.

Bradley is scheduled for Dec. 4, Mississippi Valley State for Dec. 6 and Texas State for Dec. 13 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth for the Coast-to-Coast Challenge. Winthrop, Bethune-Cookman and the University of the Southwest will finish the slate at home on Dec. 16, Dec. 20 and Dec. 22. Tickets are sold at 940-565-2527 and ticketoffice@unt.edu.

The office is at Gate 2 of DATCU Stadium and operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The American Conference schedule will be released later.
