The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has designated Alejandro Villegas, a 32-year-old sex offender from Fort Worth, as the Featured Fugitive for July 2026. This announcement comes with an increased reward of $6,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip is submitted within the month.

Villegas has been wanted since January 2026 due to a probation violation linked to a prior charge of sexual assault of a child. His criminal record includes an arrest in 2022 by the Grand Prairie Police Department for a sexual assault incident involving a 16-year-old girl.

Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds, Villegas has connections to several areas, including Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas. The DPS is urging the public to assist in locating him.

To qualify for the cash reward, individuals with information can reach out to authorities through three methods: by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a web tip via the DPS website by selecting Villegas's profile, or using the Facebook tip submission option found under the “About” section.

Further details about Villegas's activities or whereabouts have not been disclosed, and the DPS continues to seek assistance from the community in apprehending him.
