The downtown area recently expanded with the arrival of a family-owned bakery offering artisanal breads and pastries, followed by a specialty coffee shop utilizing locally sourced beans.
In the industrial sector, a local manufacturing firm announced plans to expand operations, a move expected to generate additional employment opportunities within the region.
In the education sector, Anna Independent School District marked the graduation of its senior class, noting a record attendance of 150 students. The district also opened a new STEM laboratory at the middle school, which includes robotics kits and interactive learning tools.
