The Houston Texans will be without defensive end Jadeveon Clowney for their game against the Bengals after he sustained a knee injury during preparations for Week 2.

Clowney has now faced injuries in three straight weeks. The Texans' 36-31 defeat to Buffalo last Sunday came while he was dealing with ankle and hip problems. He did not practice during the current week because of the knee injury.

Dominique Robinson and Sabastain Harash are expected to split rotational work at edge rusher behind Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter. No additional details were provided.
