The Dallas Cowboys are expected to play Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders without starting inside linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, according to cbssports.com.

Overshown sustained the hamstring injury in the Cowboys’ loss to the New York Giants last Sunday. Coach Brian Schottenheimer said the 26-year-old was expected to miss one or two weeks.

His absence could extend to the Cowboys’ Week 3 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. That would depend on whether the injury continues to keep Overshown out of practice. The report did not include additional details about his recovery.
