The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8490, while the national average is $4.3163. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 8 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9307, drivers are paying about 94 cents more per gallon.
