Anna residents have one city item on the Nov. 3 ballot: Proposition A, which would let the city issue $60 million in bonds for street improvements and levy taxes to repay them. The bond was reported on in detail last month.

The Collin College district's $600 million bond is also on Anna ballots; our earlier story covered the college's plans for its property in Anna. Collin County adds four propositions of its own, for courts and detention facilities, roads and bridges, parks, and a new elections building.

Above those measures, voters choose a U.S. senator, members of Congress, a governor and other state officers, appeals court judges, legislators and county officials. Contested county races include county judge and county clerk. No Anna ISD contest appears on the county's sample ballot.

Oct. 5, a Monday, is the final day to register. Ballots can be cast early in person starting Oct. 19, with the last early day Oct. 30, ahead of the Nov. 3 vote. Collin County posts a ballot lookup by address on its elections website.
