Anna would pay Collin County $303,778 this fiscal year for the Sheriff's Office to handle its emergency dispatching, under a contract extension on the county's Oct. 19 agenda.
The amendment to Anna's interlocal dispatch agreement (contract No. 2021-382) runs from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027. On top of the base payment, the budget office lists $4,678 for warrant work and $6,804 in PAWM fees. The county books the money as revenue to its general fund.
The agreement can be renewed in one-year steps at a rate both sides agree on, according to the Sheriff's Office request.
Anna ISD has its own dispatch agreement with the county. Its extension calls for $20,337 plus $756 in PAWM fees for the same 12 months.
