Anna's City Council is set to buy a new EMS rescue vehicle and hire engineers for a sewer project in Slayter Creek at its Tuesday, Oct. 13 meeting, according to the agenda the city posted Wednesday.
Both are consent items. Under the agenda's rules, those are voted on together, though any council member can ask before the motion to have one considered separately.
On the consent agenda
- EMS rescue vehicle: a resolution authorizing a contract with Frazer Bilt/Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep for the purchase, presented by Interim Fire Chief Kurt Hall.
- Slayter Creek lift station: a professional services agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates for engineering on the Slayter Creek Lift Station and Offsite Sewer Improvements Project, presented by City Engineer Kevin Bates.
- Title VI plan: a resolution adopting a City of Anna Title VI Nondiscrimination Plan.
- Minutes from the Sept. 22 council meeting and from the Aug. 6 joint meeting of the Community Development Corporation and Economic Development Corporation boards.
The agenda lists the contracts and plan as attachments, but the meeting packet had not been posted publicly Wednesday, so the price of the rescue vehicle and the value of the engineering contract were not available.
