The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce is bringing back its Boo Bash on Saturday, Oct. 17, filling Slayter Creek Park with more than 100 vendors and food trucks for an afternoon that is free to attend.
Gates open to the public at noon and the event runs until 4 p.m. at the park, 425 W. Rosamond Parkway. Vendors begin setting up at 9 a.m.
The chamber's listing promises a costume contest for kids and a Kidz Zone with inflatables, along with the vendor booths and food trucks. Sponsorships are still available, and businesses that want a booth pay separate rates for chamber members and nonmembers.
Only one direct-sales vendor is allowed per product line, so a single cosmetics or candle consultant, for example, rather than several selling the same brand.
If the weather turns
The chamber is clear that there is no rain date. If weather becomes a problem, the Anna Police Department will decide whether the event closes early, and vendor fees and sponsorships are not refunded. The listing names Angie Toles at the chamber as the contact.
A busy month for the chamber
Boo Bash is one of several chamber events on the October calendar. Pacesetter Homes holds a ribbon cutting at noon Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 912 Fairfield Ave. in Leonard Trails, with door prizes. Coventry Homes hosts the chamber's after-hours networking mixer from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at 1808 Hickory Chase Lane. Both are free.
The chamber then marks Greater Anna Chamber Week from Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, which its calendar describes as a chance to recognize the organization's work in the community. Ribbon cuttings follow later in the month for Ghostcoded on Oct. 22, Nobility Plumbing on Oct. 27 and Jefferson Arbor on Oct. 29.
