Roberts breaks it open

Texas A&M takes the early lead
Texas A&M opened the scoring in the first period when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal for a 3-0 Aggies lead. Missouri answered in the second period with a 32-yard touchdown pass from Austin Simmons to Cayden Lee, followed by Blake Craig’s extra point, putting the Tigers ahead 7-3.
Craig added a 50-yard field goal later in the period, and Missouri led 10-3 at halftime. The Tigers’ 10-point second quarter followed a first quarter in which Texas A&M held the scoring edge, 3-0.
Missouri adds to its advantage
Missouri extended the lead in the third period when Craig connected on a 51-yard field goal. Roberts then scored on a 2-yard run, with another Craig kick, to make it 20-3. Missouri outscored Texas A&M 10-0 in the third quarter.
