The Dallas Cowboys have ruled out four players for their game against the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro, according to the team’s official website. Dallas also elevated cornerback Reddy Steward from its practice squad for the matchup.
P.J. Locke will miss at least four more weeks after Dallas placed him on injured reserve because of a foot injury sustained against Washington. Safety Malik Hooker remains unavailable while recovering from a fractured forearm. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant are also out with hamstring injuries. Durant, who had been starting, was hurt during Dallas’ Week 2 win over Washington.
Linebacker Barron now has a spot on the 53-player roster after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad for the previous game. His addition provides depth while Overshown is sidelined. Linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters were injured against Washington but finished that game.
Steward saw significant defensive action for Dallas in 2025 as a nickel cornerback and has also occasionally played safety. The Cowboys retain Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark at safety. Steward’s ability to handle both secondary positions gives Dallas another option there.
