The Houston Texans are 0-2 and could again be without their top wide receiver when they face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3. Nico Collins missed the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, his third consecutive absence since sustaining a Grade 1 hamstring strain before Houston's Week 2 game against Cincinnati.
Dalton Schultz, Trent Brown, Ed Ingram and Jadeveon Clowney also were not seen during the portion open to reporters. No further information was provided about those players' statuses.
Collins did not play against the Bengals, and no Houston wide receiver recorded more than three catches or 40 yards. Schultz had 12 receptions for 140 yards. Xavier Hutchinson, Kayshon Boutte and Jaylin Noel combined for seven catches.
If Collins remains unavailable, those three receivers would be expected to take on more responsibility, while offensive coordinator Nick Caley prepares for another game without Collins.
