Nico Collins' status for Houston's Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals remains undecided after the receiver missed Thursday and Friday practices. The 27-year-old was injured during Houston's Wednesday workout.

Adam Schefter reported that Texans doctors did not consider the hamstring problem serious. Ian Rapoport said Friday on *The Pat McAfee Show* that missing two straight practices reduced Collins' chances of playing, while also describing the injury as apparently not serious.

Collins began the 2026 season with seven receptions, 75 receiving yards and one touchdown on 10 targets during Houston's 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He had topped 1,000 receiving yards in each of the prior three seasons.

ClutchPoints.com reported that his status is still unresolved and that, if he sits out against Cincinnati, he could potentially return for Houston's Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 27.
