The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year contract extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, keeping him under contract through the 2027 season. The reported value is $6 million, and the agreement is expected to be signed this week.
Dallas selected Flournoy in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. The team placed him on waivers during its initial roster reductions in 2025, but he cleared waivers and later rejoined the organization through its practice squad. That move replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving him with three years on the new deal and a possible restricted-free-agent season afterward.
The extension removes that possibility and gives Dallas another season of contractual control.
The Cowboys said Flournoy had a breakout 2025 season. The new agreement provides the chance for him to keep developing during the 2026 and 2027 seasons, while a longer-term contract remains possible later. Dallas also recently reached a three-year agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford. The extension comes before the regular-season opener against the New York Giants.
