The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, concluding practices that began on July 29. Fans were present for the last session, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to compete against the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before they finalize their 53-man roster for the upcoming regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a significant impact during the final practice, demonstrating his abilities after limited participation in earlier sessions because the starters were not active. He connected with quarterback Dak Prescott several times, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Additionally, Lamb made a remarkable one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant had a challenging practice, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and the other to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a strong impression, starting on defense and showing aggressiveness.
He pressured Prescott during a blitz, which would have resulted in a sack in a game scenario. Barham's performance has shown consistent improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys gear up for their final preseason matchup, the team is optimistic about their offensive strength and overall performance as they head into the regular season.
