The Houston Texans reported five injury-related absences at Wednesday’s practice. Wide receiver Nico Collins remained sidelined with a hamstring injury after suffering it during practice last week and missing the team’s Week 2 loss to the Bengals. The report gave no additional information about the other injuries.

Offensive tackle Trent Brown was out with problems involving his knee and wrist. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney also missed practice because of a knee issue. Linebacker Jake Hummel and offensive guard Ed Ingram were unavailable with groin injuries. Tight end Dalton Schultz was held out for rest rather than an injury.

Linebacker Will Anderson Jr. was limited as part of a rest designation. Defensive linemen Logan Hall and M.J. Stewart were restricted by knee injuries. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz, each listed with a thumb injury, participated fully.
