Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue did not take part in joint practice with the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder injury, as reported by Patrik Walker from the Cowboys' official site.
During the Cowboys' preseason opener last weekend, Blue had 10 touches and gained a total of 34 yards. He is in competition for the second-string running back role behind Javonte Williams and is anticipated to see considerable playing time this preseason.
If Blue is unable to participate in the next game against the Arizona Cardinals, it could give Malik Davis a chance to claim the RB2 position. Further information about the extent of Blue's injury has not yet been disclosed.
