Dak Prescott went 22 of 34 for 175 yards, with touchdown throws to CeeDee Lamb and Javonte Williams. Williams also scored on a run, but a taunting penalty against him after a touchdown pushed Brandon Aubrey's extra-point kick attempt back from its usual position. Schottenheimer said Dallas needs to improve its coaching and that younger players must develop quickly.
He called the loss humbling and said the team did not begin well on offense or defense. Dallas is scheduled to host Washington next Sunday, but no further preparation details were provided.
