The Cowboys said they would seek ways to address safety depth while Jalen Thompson and P.J. Locke rehabilitate injuries expected to keep them out at least four weeks. Malik Hooker could return this week, while injuries have impacted the cornerback group as well.
Rookie linebacker Jaishawn Barham provided a bright spot with two significant fourth-quarter run stops. On fourth down near the goal line, he stopped Derrick Henry and returned possession to Dallas with the Cowboys three points behind.
