As the new season approaches, the Baylor Bears football team is experiencing notable shifts in its offensive line. With only Kaden Sieracki returning as a full-time starter at right tackle, the team is adapting to recent developments.

The exit of Yakiri Walker, a Memphis transfer who was anticipated to fill the center position, has further complicated the situation as he transitions to a coaching role after his injunction was denied.

In Walker's absence, Koltin Sieracki is stepping up as a top contender for the center position. Offensive line coach Austin Woods has observed that Koltin has been taking considerable practice reps over the summer and is likely to start against Auburn. Woods commended Sieracki's ability to lead and communicate effectively, noting his high-level performance.

Koltin Sieracki, standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 317 pounds, served as Baylor's sixth lineman last season, starting three games at both right guard and center. Although he was initially slated to play guard this year, he has redirected his focus to center, a role he prefers. "I actually prefer center," Sieracki stated, emphasizing his comfort and enjoyment of the position's physical demands.

The offensive line's arrangement is still being finalized, with Texas transfer Nate Kibble and South Alabama transfer Asher Hale reportedly competing alongside Sieracki at guard. Meanwhile, UAB transfer Logan Moore is set at left tackle, and Toledo transfer Cole Rhett is being utilized in various roles, suggesting he may be vying for a starting position or could take on Sieracki's previous sixth lineman role.

Woods highlighted the progress of Rhett and Hale, noting their consistent improvement as they gain experience during fall camp, as the team readies for its upcoming matchup against Auburn.
