A new food hall concept called Wonder is preparing to open a location in McKinney. The establishment will be situated within the West Grove development, according to a filing submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. McKinney is about 11 miles south of Anna.

The specific address for the new site is 8555 W. University Drive, Ste. 100. The facility will occupy nearly 3,800 square feet. Construction costs to complete the space are estimated at $950,000, the filing states. An opening date has not yet been determined.

Wonder operates as an app-based platform that enables customers to combine dishes from more than 20 different restaurants into a single order. The menu features made-to-order items across various cuisines. Collaborations include menu items from chefs such as Bobby Flay and restaurants like Tejas Barbecue, alongside Wonder’s own concepts such as Pop Salad.

The company’s physical locations provide dine-in and pickup options, as well as free delivery services. Wonder currently operates more than 100 locations across 10 states, primarily along the East Coast.

The McKinney site is part of a larger expansion into Texas. A company representative confirmed that Wonder plans to add more than 100 new locations in the state beginning in early 2027.

Further details regarding the specific timeline for the McKinney opening remain unclear.
