The Anna Coyotes recorded a decisive 70-14 win against Frisco Independence on Friday night. The visiting team improved their season standing to 5-0 with the result.

Anna’s offense was highly productive early in the contest. The team scored four touchdowns during the first quarter, establishing a 49-7 lead by the end of the first half.

The Coyotes’ defensive unit also performed strongly, limiting the Independence offense through multiple sacks and interceptions. Senior running back Juelz Carter contributed to the scoring with a touchdown run, while sophomore King Peoples also added a touchdown. Senior quarterback Zephyr Kreye was involved in scoring plays as well.

The Coyotes will continue their schedule by hosting the Frisco Raccoons, who hold a 3-1 record, on Friday, October 2. District play begins for Anna on October 9 with a road game at Frisco Memorial.
