Ground was broken on June 30 for the Rosamond Town Center in Anna, Texas, marking a key development in the area. This project is a collaboration between Big V Property Group, The Seitz Group, Principal Asset Management, and Citizens Bank, along with local officials. The center will complement the existing Rosamond Crossing and is part of a larger 750,000-square-foot retail complex in Collin County.

Located at the southeast corner of Rosamond Parkway and Highway 75, the open-air center will span 355,826 square feet and will feature major retailers including Academy Sports + Outdoors, Aldi, Burlington, EOS Fitness, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, PetSmart, and T.J. Maxx, alongside various outparcels and specialty shops.

Kenton McKeehan, President and Chief Investment Officer of Big V Property Group, expressed pride in contributing to the growth of Anna, highlighting the project as a generational development. He noted that the population of Anna is expected to grow significantly, outpacing the national average, and that the center will help extend the Metroplex further.

Danielle Kaufman of The Seitz Group recognized the importance of partnerships in successful developments, while Anna Mayor Pete Cain described the project as a transformative milestone for the city, projecting the addition of 750 jobs and an enhanced retail and tax base.

Texas Representative Keresa Richardson remarked on the significance of this development in the context of Texas's growth, emphasizing Anna's appeal as a community. The development team received a Congressional Commendation from U.S. Rep. Keith Self, acknowledging the collaborative efforts that have made this project possible.

Big V Property Group, a family-owned retail real estate leader, manages several properties across Texas, including notable centers in San Antonio, Euless, Humble, Cypress, and Austin. The Rosamond Town Center is expected to further enhance the retail landscape in Anna, contributing to its rapid growth and development.
