Pedro Rodriguez, 36, of Anna, has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty in a methamphetamine trafficking case, federal officials said Wednesday.
Rodriguez entered guilty pleas in the Eastern District of Texas to charges involving a drug distribution conspiracy and possession. Investigators found that he had been involved in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy in that federal district since at least September 2024, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Authorities also found a firearm tied to the drug-trafficking activity during the investigation. Further details about the possession charge and the firearm were not provided.
The investigation was handled by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Collin County Sheriff's Office. FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth reported that its information came from the Justice Department.
