Love's Travel Stops has opened a new facility in Premont, Texas, marking the 84th location for the company in the state. The site, situated at 511 NE 8th Street along U.S. Route 281, adds 59 truck parking spaces to the regional network. The company noted that it has added a total of 1,135 truck parking spaces nationwide during 2026.
The 12,748-square-foot facility is positioned between existing Love's locations in Three Rivers and Edinburg. It provides fueling and services for professional drivers, recreational vehicle owners, and other motorists. The site includes 43 car parking spaces and features amenities such as five diesel bays, four showers, laundry facilities, a CAT Scale, and four RV hookups.
Additional features include an RV dump station, a dog park, an ATM, self-checkout options, and a Godfather's Pizza outlet.
Space has been allocated for electric vehicle chargers at the Premont site. Love's stated that it can partner with local utility companies to install charging stations if customer demand develops.
To mark the opening, the company will donate $2,500 each to the Premont Fire Department and Premont Collegiate High School. An additional $5,000 will be given to Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
Separately, Love's recently completed remodels under its Road Ahead Plan at locations in Waco, Georgia; Lordsburg, New Mexico; Greenville, Illinois; Conneaut, Ohio; Walters, Oklahoma; and Baxter, Tennessee. These renovations are intended to improve traffic flow and the shopping experience. A combined $30,000 was donated to local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals serving the communities where these remodels were completed.
