A Quiet Start Followed by a Surge
The Dallas Stars overcame a scoreless opening frame to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-0 on Saturday at the United Center. The game began with a defensive stalemate, with neither team finding the back of the net during the first twenty minutes. However, the momentum shifted decisively in the second period, where the visitors finally broke through.
The final tally reflected a complete offensive disconnect for the home side, who finished with zero goals. Jason Robertson opened the scoring for Dallas, extending his goal streak to three on a wrist shot. He was assisted by Mikko Rantanen and Thomas Harley.
Shortly after, Arttu Hyry added to the lead with a wrist shot, assisted by Sam Steel. By the end of the second period, the Stars held a 2-0 advantage.
Hyry Powers the Third-Period Blitz
The third period proved to be the most productive stretch for the visiting offense. Arttu Hyry continued his strong performance, scoring his second goal of the night on a backhand shot. Nils Lundkvist provided the sole assist on that play.
The Stars maintained their offensive pressure throughout the final twenty minutes. Roope Hintz capped the scoring with a wrist shot goal, which was assisted by Tyler Seguin and Jason Robertson. This goal marked Hintz's third of the season.
